Hi there my name is Dr Samuel Hunt. I am a software engineer and lecturer based in Bristol, UK. I have been pushing software into production for over 15 years.
Ive worked from the bottom of the stack to the top, everything from firmware, mobile, desktop, backends and frontends. I did research into how to design Music software and got a PhD in computer science as a result.
Ive untangled distributed monoliths, helped scale MVPs into enterprise grade series-a level platforms, and architected systems to handle millions of requests per day.
My current focus is in desiging clean, modern distributed python backend services.
